webOS application icons in the Launcher are ideally encoded as a size of 64 x 64 pixels, as a 24-bit PNG (RGB), 8 bits alpha. The icon's image should be 56 x 56 pixels within the bounds of the PNG. In terms of icon design, you should refer to the webOS style guidelines found in the SDK documentation.
